Stop 11 Town Hall - Masonic Lodge

Constructed in 1852 as the Town Hall and Lyceum, the building was also home to the Kilwinning Crosse Masonic Lodge, chartered in 1754-- one of the oldest in the country. The first floor served as Port Royal’s Town Hall, an academy and later a general store. The building is currently awaiting restoration as a museum and visitor center.
